Our next demonstration.........

Society membership is open to anyone with a love of art, from virtual beginners to experienced semi-professional artists and for 2026, the cost to become a member is £27.50, which we think is excellent value.

Our members can attend monthly demonstrations at the Old Magistrates Court Room on the third Tuesday of the month during the Spring and Autumn terms.  All the demonstrations for 2026 are listed on the Calendar area of the site and they begin at 10am and are given by professional artists, working in a variety of media and are often followed by a workshop in the afternoon. Details of these are also shown.

There is a lively Tuesday morning painting group during the Spring and Autumn terms and those who would like to come along pay £23 per term. In the Summer we offer a full programme of plein air sessions in attractive and interesting  locations and these are always a favourite.
